The Piggies Take Over
It's us, The Piggies, Emma Sue, I'm brown, and Sasha, I'm white.
Mom's been having a crazy week.
Our boy - well he's not a boy, he's 19 - was in the hospital with diabetes complications for 4 days and mom has not been feeling so good either.
So, we will tell you about us. Emma is older, age 4 and Sasha is 3. Mom adopted both of us because we needed a good home. She does that a lot and once had 8 piggies at once.
Emma was just hard to adopt and outlived her time at the pet store, but Sasha had her leg broken by some little kids who played too rough with her. She was taken back to the store, fixed up at their vet and put up for adoption.
We eat our guinea pig pellets practically all day long. In the morning Carrot Giver, known as mom, gives us each a baby carrot. If she forgets, we squeal at her until she remembers. In the evening we either get parsley, broccoli, or some other crunchy veggie that might be around, sometimes fruit like apples, oranges or watermelon or grapes.
Every day we get a big pile of timothy hay which we like to burrow into and munch all day long. We cannot digest our food with out it.
And the last thing we do all day long is.....poop. Yep. Massive quantities of pellets!
We love to get held and have lap time, but if its for too long, we will pee on that persons lap. It's actually a sign of affection. Truly. It is.
Thanks for letting us into the Cat Blogosphere today, cats! Good to hang out here. Just please don't ask if you can eat us. We are not a snack. But try telling that to Scout. He stalks us all the time.
Bye! Gotta go eat & poo again!

Nice to meet you. Funny, really, because Mom and Dad were talking just the other day about how Scout stalks you guys and how it amazes us that some kitties can live with guinea pigs or bunnies and get along. No offense, but I just feel like you'd be fun to stalk, is all. You're both very cute. We sure hope the big boy is doing better. That diabetes can be a pain to deal with. We'll be sure to send some extra purrs his way.

Nice to meet you two! It's always nice to have new additions to the Cat Bwogosphere, cats or non cats.
Hiya Piggies. we luv to hear from all the petsies out there. Mom says you guys look all cuddly and snorkly. Rabbie understands about the deliciousness of Timothy Hay. We hope Sasha's leg healed up okay. One of the Ratz a long time ago gots a broken leg when they triped on a ramp in their cage. They were older. ~the Fluffy Tribe
