They're Home!

Mom and Dad went to North Dakota on Friday to visit our Gramma, also known as Dad's mom.
His brother got a call from the nursing home where she is that she wasn't doing very well, and they had her moved to hospice. So mom & dad decided to pay a quick visit. Well, when they got there she was dying!!! No kidding! They got there at 2:oo and she passed at 6:15! No one had any idea this was gonna happen. Seems like she decided in her mind the night before that is was time to go and that was it, the nurse said. Mom & dad got there just in time, but the other 2 brothers didn't cause one was flying in from Florida and the other one came from Minneapolis the next day.
So they stayed longer than they planned to have a funeral and all the stuff people do.
We missed Mom terribly, the piggies too, even though College Boy was here to take care of us. (He had a party while they were gone, shhhhh, don't tell.) Mom was worried Scout would try to escape, but he was good.
So anyway, while mom & dad are sad to see her go they are also relieved, because she wasn't well for a long time and now she's in a better place.
Kind of like the Rainbow Bridge, but for people.

We are sorry for your loss. But it was good that you got to see her one more time and say goodbye.
Purrs to the beans on your loss.
Sorry that your Grammy passed away. Yes, there is a Rainbow Bridge for peoples. It is next door to the one for animals, and everyone visits all the time back and forth. She won't be lonely at all.
We're sorry for your beans loss. We agree wif Brandi.

Loosing a Furless one is always a sad day. Grandma is in a better place now, no more pain, sickness, sadness.

I am very sorry for your loss, SS&S and family. I know how terrible I felt when I did not make it back to my hometown when my Grandmother passed away. What a blessing to share in those last moments. My sympathies to all of you,
Marina

Gasp! Did you say the college boy had a party??? We hopes the Sisfur doesn't do that while the beans are gone. Although Angie does like to act like a slu... I mean... a furry friendly girl to everyone when there's a party - and I mean Efurryone!

we're sorry fur your loss. did your Grammy haf kitties or woofies waiting fur her at the Rainbow Bridge? if she did, i bet they're all together smiling down on you right now
Oh man, I'm sorry. It's always hard on People...I really do think that when People go, they're allowed to visit the Rainbow Bridge to play with all the furry friends that are there, waiting. They get heaven, plus liberal RB visitation. But still, it's hard on the people left behind, so you have to be extra nice for a while.
Dear Bean People:
I was just noticing, I think all three of your kitties look emancipated and hungry and need some Fancy Feast Stinky Goodness NOW! Thank you for listening.
