Little Cat Feet

Shaggy and his littermate brother Scooby came to live with us in October 2005, when they were 5 years old. Scout arrived in 2006 at the age of 6 weeks. Scooby passed over very suddenly to the Rainbow Bridge on April 1, 2012 and is remembered fondly and missed deeply.

Home and Away

Mom is home from her 30th high school reunion. She said she hardly recognized anyone, but most of them knew her, and also Dad, who graduated the year before. She must be pretty well preserved after all those years.

The boy wouldn't let us outside while they were away. We tried our best to drive him crazy, but he didn't break. But he did give us our Fancy Feast. Mom hugged us & smothered us in kisses and we got to go out with her today.

Mom said she is a homebody. Dad loves to go back home - they go once a year in the summer- and party with his friends but mom just wants to be at home and really hates going anywhere. She's like us cats. We like and thrive on our routines, and hate anything that upsets it. She's very cat-like in that way.

Well, it must have been rough without your Mom, but it sounds like she wanted to make it up to you when she got back home.

Both my humans like to stay at home with us, too. We can't get in trouble or have housewrecking parties because they're always here!

Wow. 30 years.. let's see-ours in three years I think. I doubt my person will go--actually she's never even gotten invitations from her high school so no one must know where she is.

My people are going to have a dilemma next year for their 30th. He wants to go, she doesn't see the point. I think they should stay home and feed the kitties.

Our humans haven't been to any of their high school reunions. With our dad in the army, he's never been able to make it back to his home town when they've occurred!

Ah, Poutine! Sadly, we don't have the correct ingredients for it here in Munich: French fries, gravy and cheese curds. Oh well. Something to look forward to when we're posted back to Canada!

I understand. Our Mom likes to get up and go, but as soon as she's gone she's missing us. It's quite a dilemma for her.

Our Mom is like your mom. She likes to stay home with us too. She says sometimes she likes cats better than people.

Our beans are pretty much both homebodies. Going to the grocery store is like a vacation to them! ;-)

Glad your mom's home and giving you lots of love!
