Little Cat Feet

Shaggy and his littermate brother Scooby came to live with us in October 2005, when they were 5 years old. Scout arrived in 2006 at the age of 6 weeks. Scooby passed over very suddenly to the Rainbow Bridge on April 1, 2012 and is remembered fondly and missed deeply.

Shaggy's Dictionary

SPRING: That lovely time of year when the flowers bloom and the trees leaf out. Warm sunny days prevail and the birds sing and build their nests to raise their young. The windows are open to let in fresh breezes and enchanting smells like freshly cut grass and lilacs and barbecues.
Reality: Crappity crap crap crap. Gloomy, nearly constant rain. Flowers shivering in their pots deciding whether they should live or die. Momma grouching because she has to still layer up to go outside. The windows stay closed. The furnace is still on! Dad can't golf!! No sun, just gloom.

OK, we need some action here stat. Quick, Scooby, you rub against your momma's legs. Shaggy, you jump in her lap and start kneading kitty biscuits. Scout, you give her little paw pats on her cheek as though you're wiping away tears. Your momma needs a natural mood lifter! (It always works with my humans...)

It is finally nice today. Mum says we are 2-3 weeks behind in terms of warm weather and such. I agree, we want warm weather.

Bummer on the Minnesota weather you've been having. We'll send some sunshine your way so you can open the windows and let the spring come in.
