Little Cat Feet

Shaggy and his littermate brother Scooby came to live with us in October 2005, when they were 5 years old. Scout arrived in 2006 at the age of 6 weeks. Scooby passed over very suddenly to the Rainbow Bridge on April 1, 2012 and is remembered fondly and missed deeply.

Cold Day, Warm Fireplace

Very cold today. 4 degrees when we got up with a fierce windchill.
Zolie is in her warm heated hut in the garage, doing well.
Not too much happening in our neck of the woods otherwise. Dad's working lots of overtime to finish a project at work before he & mom go to Phoenix for two weeks, Feb 25 - Mar 11.
10 days hasn't been enough for them so now it's 2 weeks. What's next? Moving there? (Actually they are considering it when retirement comes)
But that's probably 10 years from now. Anywho, the fireplace thingy has been on and that is the best thing about this day.
Patches is still doing fine. He loves mom to brush him every day. His girls are making it a priority to find a place for their mom that allows cats. Purr them some good luck, ok?
Do you see Scout in the background shooting his lazers at me? I just ignore him and he usually goes away.

It is very cold here too and we aren't going outdoors very much. The woodburner is much better. We see Scout giving you the lasers. We are purring for Patches to be able to go with his mum.

It looks like thunderstorm weather outside my human's office window today - now, that is weird weather for us in January! I'm glad to hear that Zolie is keeping warm in the garage.

Stay warm, it is cold here too. We don't have a fire thingy to help keep us warm.

First off, I'm glad you're staying warm. I don't want my furriends getting the freezies and, I want to wish good luck and purrs to Patches and family.

Mom and Dad leaving?? Holy cow, are you going to miss them! I'm not going to rub it in. Mom Julie has had it with the cold, too and is thinking of sunnier climes.

Scout! Hold the lasers, buddy!

Hugs,
Tom, Mom Julie & Mittens

Four degrees -- brr! Reminds me why we moved from Iowa to South Carolina! At least you have a toasty fire (and warm laser eyes on you...) We're glad Zolie is warm inside too. She's so fortunate to have your Mom.

Have a Happy Valentine's Day!

Brrr! It's cold here, too, but not that cold. Stay warm by the nice fire thingy. Two weeks is too long to be without the humans. Make sure they know it when they get back. I hope that Patches' Mom can find a place that allows cats. Happy Valentine's Day!
