Little Cat Feet

Shaggy and his littermate brother Scooby came to live with us in October 2005, when they were 5 years old. Scout arrived in 2006 at the age of 6 weeks. Scooby passed over very suddenly to the Rainbow Bridge on April 1, 2012 and is remembered fondly and missed deeply.

Cold

Dang!
It was 43 degrees yesterday
and today it's below zero with a winter storm coming!
Why does Mother Nature give tantalizing
tastes of Spring and then take it away
so cruelly?
Even the birds were out singing and
doing happy bird things and the neighborhood
woofies were all getting walks with their people.
Today, it's hibernation time again.

Oh, I know what you mean! Last night the wind picked up to like a thousand miles an hour and made a whole lot of noise that scared us. And as if that wasn't bad enough, it started to sleet a lot! I swear it was hitting the windows on all sides of the house. This morning we woke up to find everything was under a sheet of ice and it's cold cold cold again.

Mother Nature likes to toy with her prey. I do not start getting excited about warm weather until March.

Oh yeah I can relate. All nice today, warmish. Now blowing and getting cold. It was mid 40's this afternoon, now 16 and dropping like a rock!

But not as much snow as they originally said. Mum filled up the birdie feeders so they have something to eat.
