Little Cat Feet

Shaggy and his littermate brother Scooby came to live with us in October 2005, when they were 5 years old. Scout arrived in 2006 at the age of 6 weeks. Scooby passed over very suddenly to the Rainbow Bridge on April 1, 2012 and is remembered fondly and missed deeply.

Sneezy, Wheezy Weekend

Our mom is sick now.
We have been reading in other cat blogs about lots of their humans being sick lately. High School boy started it 'cause he caught it from his friends. He sounds like he's trying to hork up a big hairball. College Boy came home for Thanksgiving sick too. Mom doesn't like it when he gets sick & he's far from home. She is a "Class A" worrier! He sounds like he's trying to hork up a gigantic hairball.
Mom is stuffy & drippy, achey and very tired. She slept almost all day today. She said she can feel it moving into her chest too. Dad has been trying to avoid it all. He's been cleaning out the basement. There's bugs down there, but not the same as mom & the boys have......
Scout sneezed into mom's face 3 times this morning when he woke up. Can cats catch human viruses? Probably not, or there would be a lot of sick cats out there. He seems fine. He has a cute little sneeze.
So we cats will be busy this week. We stayed by mom on her bed most of the day, every so often she'd look at us & groan and tell us how good and faithful we are.
It's all just part of being a cat. -Scooby

Make sure that you give your Mom lots of purrs and headbutts. Sitting near her and being a heater works well too. --Firenze
