Little Cat Feet

Shaggy and his littermate brother Scooby came to live with us in October 2005, when they were 5 years old. Scout arrived in 2006 at the age of 6 weeks. Scooby passed over very suddenly to the Rainbow Bridge on April 1, 2012 and is remembered fondly and missed deeply.

Substitute Kitty

OK. So mom & dad came home from the state lefty golf turn-a-mint that dad played in. He got 4th place. They only paid out to 3rd so he was "out of the money." He said he goes to have fun mostly anyway.
Mom went shopping while he played the first day and found an an-teek mall to look around. guess what? It had a resident kitty cat! She has the run of the place (it's big) and has beds in all sorts of places throughout. She was a Tortie - the first Tortie mom has ever seen in person. Mom was gonna ask if she is a Tough A$$ Tortie, but thought better of it. The kitties mom probably wouldn't understand. Mom sat on the floor to pet Miss Meow-Meow and that kitty crawled right into mom's lap and started turning in circles then started sucking her toes (her own toes, not moms.) The store lady says Meow-Meow has taken to mom right away, and that she wants to nap in her lap. Apparently the kitty starts to suck her toes when she wants to settle down for a nap. Mom visited her a bit longer, but she had to get back to the golf course.
Mom is glad she got to pet a kitty while there, but was awful glad to get home and have some kitty contact from us.

What a wonderful story! Glad you clarified that the Tortie Kitty was sucking her own toes rather than you mom's toes! Haha...it would have been funnier if the Tortie had started sucking your mom's toes though.

I'll bet your mom missed you a whole bunch. Did she bring you some good treats from the golf tournament place? If she didn't wait till she takes her shoes off and go suck on her toes...or bite them ;)

It was nice that there was a kitty out there to entertain your mom while she was a way. There's just something about visiting a store where there are animals. Mom and Dad go to a nursery like that, and the cat just roars the grounds. Not a bad life, I guess. But I'm sure Mom was happy to get to see you guys when she got home. Too bad your Dad finished out of the money. At least he had fun.
