Little Cat Feet

Shaggy and his littermate brother Scooby came to live with us in October 2005, when they were 5 years old. Scout arrived in 2006 at the age of 6 weeks. Scooby passed over very suddenly to the Rainbow Bridge on April 1, 2012 and is remembered fondly and missed deeply.

Soft as.........?

Mom said I'm "soft as a downy chick".
I reminded her I'm a kit-kat not a chicken (even though my kitty mom's name was Chicken.)
She said to go ask my internet friends what she's talking about.
She said some of your momma's will know the source of this strange saying and what the heck it means.
I think it means your momma's are as nutso as mine is.

We don't know anything about being as soft as a downy chick here. I wouldn't want to be compared to a chicken either.

She compared you to a chicken? How wierd. Mum says when she was a little wager she was around little chicks, but can't remember how soft they were.

I think it is a good thing, Scout. Being soft is good, means you are cuddly too.

We never heard that saying before either, but it must be a good thing to be soft! Happy Thanksgiving SS & S, We don't get Thanksgiving here but my mum wishes we did because then she would have had the day off work today and got to eat lots of food and stay home with me, instead of it just being a boring old Thursday!

Hey Scout, it's OK as long as your Mom says "I'm Sorry." If not, you'll "Fly Away."
